I graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English as a Second Language with an emphasis in Spanish. I began my full-time teaching career in Mosinee in 2008 school year as a multiage teacher. I spent 9 years teaching primary students between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I am excited to start my 2nd year here as Jefferson's principal!
In May 2012, I completed my masters in Educational Leadership from Marian University. That same year my first son, Austin was born. He is now 6 years old and enjoys swimming, fishing, and riding his bike. In April 2014, my second son, Hudson, was born. He is a little snuggler and loves to read books and play with his brother. It is amazing to see how they learn and grow each day!
In the summer, I enjoy spending time on Lake DuBay, having cookouts with family and friends, reading, kayaking, and traveling to new places. I am an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoy watching my favorite team compete. In the winter, I enjoy spending time inside reading and watching movies.
I have an open door policy, so please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
