Merrill High School is excited about the Academic and Career Planning opportunities that are available to our students beginning this fall. Academic and Career Planning (ACP) is a student-driven process in which students create and cultivate their own unique vision and plan for postsecondary success and develop that plan throughout high school.
Each week, students will participate in meaningful and structured Career Planning activities that will help them develop a vision for life after high school and make real world connections between their studies and their futures.
Through the Merrill High School ACP process, students understand their own learning styles, interests and skills, create a vision for the future, develop individual goals, prepare a personal plan for achieving these goals and make connections to professionals in a variety of careers and fields.
The goal of the Merrill High School ACP program is to engage students in their learning through meaningful college and career preparation, to focus academic interests and efforts, and to help students prepare for life after high school.
