Community Education Instructors

MAPS will provide a wide range of educational experiences and lifelong learning opportunities to our community. As an instructor, your passion and willingness to share your knowledge and talents with others make it possible for us to offer diverse educational, recreational, professional growth, and personal development opportunities.

Instructor Hiring Process

If you have a class idea you would like to propose for the Community Education Program; please review the Instructor Course Guidelines to ensure it meets the criteria for course offerings.

Links to submit a Class Proposal Form to the Community Education Program Coordinator can be found under Instructor Resources on this page. You can submit it electronically through the Google form (preferred) or download the paper form and share it with us by mail or by dropping it of at MAPS Central Office. You can find the address below.

The program coordinator will contact you to schedule a short meeting to discuss your class proposal and review the Instructor Handbook and Guidelines to ensure it's a good fit for everyone.

If the proposal and terms are agreed upon, you will need to complete a W-9 Tax form and a Volunteer Background Check to begin. All can be found under Instructor Resources here on this page to the right.
